The Wall Street Journal confirmed the news of Google Glass 2 silently being distributed to the Enterprise class partners of the company. This also confirms that we should see a the Google Glass 2 officially coming out by end of this year.
The new Google Glass 2 is more like a foldable traditional pair of glasses which is designed for more rugged usage. But, it still has the same small screen on the upper right corner of the vision. The reason for more focus on building Glass for the Enterprise class can be the cost factor, as the Enterprise market is the only one which shall be willing to shell out such a price.
But, the good news is, the Glass 2 might just be the way lesser in cost that it’s predecessor, which costed a whopping $1,500. But, again this can be true only for the enterprise partners and not for the Explorer editions. The better things about the Google Glass 2 are it’s specifications, as it comes with a faster Intel Atom processor (probably the latest Cherry trail?) , better wireless capabilities and improved battery performance.
