Xiaomi was announced as the testing partner for Windows 10 OS on smartphones by Microsoft at the beginning of this year. The Windows 10 Mobile OS based smartphones may soon come from other OEMs, but this has left lot of raising questions unanswered by Microsoft.
One of the Chinese analysts claim that Xiaomi shall launch a Windows 10 based Mi Tablet by end of Q3 2015. This has set a debate that probably Microsoft and Xiaomi have joined hands to build a Windows 10 Mobile based smartphone or even an Android and Windows 10 dual boot devices. Microsoft, also recently posted an image of the Xiaomi Mi 4 running Windows 10 build 10240. Another tweet suggested that the company is set to start an insider program in China with Mi phones in the coming weeks.
The only disappointing factor is, the Xiaomi’s VP Hugo Barra, denied any such collaboration of Xiaomi with Microsoft. As he justified by saying that, Microsoft’s experimental program worked directly with the Mi fan community in China and that isn’t in any way directly in any terms with the company. Well, though it’s too soon to believe any of the reports, but the thought of Xiaomi launching a Windows 10 Mobile device seems pretty exciting to us. Let us know how you feel about this new development between Xiaomi and Microsoft.
