RIM announced the launch of a fairly cheaper smartphone compared to it’s other devices named the BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India. This phone which will be priced at Rs 10,990 will come with BlackBerry messenger, FM station with a dedicated key, applications worth Rs 2,500 free for download and a 2MP camera. BlackBerry claims to aim the youth of India with this phone more than the business oriented buyers which it usually does. We frankly feel for this price there are even better phones in market (Android ones obviously!), even though this phone is fairly cheaper compared to it’s other phones in the market. Let’s see how this so-called stunt from BlackBerry will be taken by the Indian market.
