To reduce the amount of time an enterprise loses on checking daily emails, filtering them, understanding and replying each of them which becomes a work in itself, IBM has come up with a free email solution called the IBM Verse. The email solution features a one look interface to help employees focus on what they want, helping them find data faster instead of scanning each and every mail.
The beta version of the Verse email service will be available from today on desktop as well as mobile devices. The mobile version will be available as of now only on Android and iOS. Both the platforms will offer the same level of functionality and complexity as in the desktop version.
IBM Verse email service focuses on searching people instead of searching for data and quickly adapts itself to the user requirements. From images of people that one interacts with frequently to upcoming meetings, the solution offers them all on a single interface window. With IBM mastering the analytics section of technology, they surely know how to guage the behaviour of thei email service and help let their Verse email app to take the right decisions. IBM also claims that, Verse email service is something which neither Microsoft nor Google has to offer.
In a media briefing at the IBM client center in New Delhi, the Technical Sales Leader, Rishab Sharma gave a demo of how the solution pulls relevant content from email, social networks, chats, documents and presents them through a single user interface. They also showed as how the user can share content with everyone by posting a single blog item instead of sending emails every now and then.
