Apple devices to get battery replacement after they hit 80 percent health

Apple-devices-to-get-battery-replacementApple recently has confirmed a newly added term to the AppleCare+ which is it’s extended warranty program.

The company confirmed the new clause that of Apple devices to get battery replacement after they hit 80 percent health. This is applicable to any device which runs on iOS or OSX including iPhones, iPods, Macbooks and iMac Desktops. The number used to be 50% of the battery health before which has gone up now. That too previously the Mac batteries used to be covered for manufacturing defects only and not for normal performance degradation, which is inevitable.

So hold onto your devices who’s battery life has deteriorated as the policy kicks in immediately for the devices purchased after April 10th of this year.
