With Redmi Note 4 already being a runaway success for Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 5 mid-range Android phone already seems to be in works as the speculations over it’s specifications have begun to float over the Internet.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will come with a a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p), powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 SoC, an Adreno 508 GPU and may come in two variants which 3GB RAM alongside 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage. The Redmi Note 5 will come loaded with company’s upcoming mobile MIUI 9 OS based on Android Nougat, a 16MP rear camera, with f/2.0 aperture, an LED flash module. and a 13MP front shooter which is a huge bump over the Redmi Note 4 that had a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. Apart from these, the Redmi Note 5 will come with a fingerprint scanner, an X12 LTE modem, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C 3.1 and will pack a 3790mAh battery which is lesser compared to it’s predecessor.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will also support QuickCharge 4.0 for efficient and faster charging. It will be supposedly be a mid-range Android phone priced at $200 which is roughly about Rs 13,000, which seems to be a great price for the specifications quoted.
