Finally, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was announced today in India. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2, which is part of the Make in India campaign too, will come to India on July 27th via various offline and online channels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with a 6.44 inch large immersive display, a fingerprint sensor, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 CPU alongside the Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card support by 128GB. The Mi Max 2 on the imaging front includes Sony’s IMX386 12MP rear camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture, Large 1.25μm pixels, phase-detection autofocus and two-tone flash. On the front it is equipped with a 5MP camera which has a f/2.0 aperture and Beautify feature which has 36 smart beauty profiles. The device comes with a massive 5,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
On the connectivity front, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with USB 3.1 support, Wi-fi which supports Wifi Direct/Wifi display, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM suppport and an IR Blaster which can be used as a universal remote controls for TVs and Air-conditioners. The Mi Max 2 is priced at Rs 16,999 and will be available across online stores like Flipkart, Amazon, Tata Cliq, PayTM and offline stores like eZone and Sangeetha.
