Google have collaborated along with LG to launch the Watch Style and Sport with Android Wear 2.0 on February 10. The Watch Style and the Watch Sport will be available on the Google Store, where the Watch Style will be sold for $249 ($279 for rose gold), and the Watch Sport (including the Google Store exclusive blue version) for $349.
Coming to the specifications, the LG Watch Style will come with a 1.1GHz Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, an IP67 certified 1.2-inch P-OLED display with 360×360 resolution at 299PPI with Gorilla Glass 3, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 240mAh battery with support for wireless charging. On connectivity front supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. The Watch Style straps are made up of Italian Genuine leather, comes with Android Wear 2.0 OS and will come in Silver, Titanium, and Rose Gold colors.
The LG Watch Sport comes with the same Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, an IP68 certified 1.38-inch P-OLED display with 480×480 resolution at 348PPI with Gorilla Glass 3, 768MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a 430mAh battery also with wireless charging support. On connectivity front it has much more to offer like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and LTE – which means will come with a sim slot. It also supports a whole range of sensors including Accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor, barometer and ambient light. The Watch Sport straps are made up of thermoplastic polyurethane, comes with Android Wear 2.0 OS, and will come in Titanium and Dark Blue colors as options.
