The slowly growing Taiwanese company launched the beautiful aluminium unibody based metallic HTC 10 with Snapdragon 820 top-of-the-line chipset. The phone already has gone for pre-order on the official HTC website in UK.
The HTC 10 comes with some brilliant specifications as it comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super LCD 5 display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, a 64-bit Snapdragon 820 chipset with an Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The HTC 10 has a 12MP UltraPixel 2 with laser autofocus, optical image stabilization (OIS), two-tone LED flash and also a 5MP front camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).
The phone comes loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.0, a 3000 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support and a HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition with Dolby Audio. On connectivity front, HTC 10 offers NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, DLNA, AirPlay, and Miracast. Airplay is is a proprietary protocol developed by Apple Inc. that allows wireless streaming between devices of audio, video, device screens, and photos which includes Apple devices as well.
The recent benchmark reports from GSMarena suggested that HTC 10 is the best Android smartphone with single-core performance surpassing the LG G5 on GeekBench 3. It also tops AnTutu benchmark charts by again surpassing the LG G5.
