Google’s breakfast event which predictably announed the Android 4.3 JellyBean update officially. The Android 4.3 would be coming to Nexus devices for now which are, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Galaxy Nexus. The only device coming pre-loaded with Android 4.3 would be the new Nexus 7 tablet. The best part is yet to come. The Android 4.3 will be rolling out Over-The-Air from today which should excite the proud Nexus owners for sure. The other smartphones already have started giving out dates were Sony has already announced their list of Xperia devices which would be getting the latest Android 4.3 update. You can also flash the factory images readily available live from the Google Developers Portal, of Android 4.3 onto your Nexus devices. But that would come with a cost of wiping out your data.
To talk briefly about the improvements coming with Android 4.3, the most important of it to discuss it is, that it would come with restricted profiles in form of multi-user support. In multi-user support, the parents or even you can enhance your privacy by providing a different login for others which would mostly be children. You have the flexibility to allow the apps to be used and the ones to be completely out of reach of others to maintain your privacy.
The Android 4.3 also includes more languages support which include Africaaans, Amharic, Hindi, Swahili and Zulu. Google also have added support for Bluetooth Smart Technology, OpenGL ES 3.0 for better graphics, new set of DRM APIs, dial-pad autocomplete and faster user-switching. So, does the new version of Android impresses you? Or are you just waiting for Key Lime Pie in form of Android 5.0.
