Lava went on to launch yet another smartphone, this time in form of a phablet, named Lava IRIS 501. The device comes packed with 1 GHz dual-core processor, a 5 MP rear camera, a VGA front camera and 5-inch display is WVGA (800x480p).
The Lava IRIS 501 is also a dual-SIM smartphone and comes with 4GB of internal storage, 512MB RAM, 2,300 mAh battery , a microSD card slot and loaded with Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. This 5-inch device is already being listed on Saholic and is touted to go on sale from tomorrow for Rs 9,999 with also an option to notify the interested buyers.
