Asus finally launched the much awaited tablet, the Memo Pad in India today. This is a tablet which can be said as Asus's own version of Nexus 7 which was again not lauched officially in India. The Asus Memo Pad features a 7-inch display with 1024x600p resolution, Android 4.1 JellyBean, a 1GHz VIA WM8950 CPU and 1MP front camera. The tablet also packs 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Wi-Fi connectivity. They also come with 5GB of cloud storage.
The Asus Memo Pad also comes with a bunch of pre-loaded applications like SuperNote Lite, BuddyBuzz, ASUS WebStorage, ASUS Studio and WebStorage Office on the tablet.But, just to make you aware, this is does not come with 3G connectivity or a slim slot. Asus plans to sell the tablet for about as much as Google Nexus 7 should have been costed in India, which is about Rs 9,999.
